DurtE's Debut Album.
Here is a review printed in Echo Live Magazine:
When I was sent this CD, I had no idea what I was getting. A lot of people say that you can tell the direction of an album after the first 30 seconds of the first song, I would like to challenge that philosophy. First off when you hear the first song, the only thing I can think of os this dude rocks the f*%k out! Seriously. You think its just some hard metal with an MC on it, BUT it is much more. The other thing is DurtE is much more. I noticed that this guys is not scared of a beat, he actually makes the beat his b**tch (Sorry but I am still amped of the first track) Check out the track, Stay the F&^k out of my life. Most Mcs wouldn't even had tried to rhyme over it. Not to mention the fact that he KILLS it. Another track that stood out to me is the single, F&^kin Up. Q-Unique of Arsonist fame really laced Durte on this one. The video is all over the place noe so make sure you check it out. I think my favorite track off the whole project is TIME. On this track Durte brings his cohorts on much of the project, Jise and Ide. This track to me just some good ole hip hop. A dope track, Dope verses, the way God intended hip hop to be. DurtE is carving up his own niche in this rap game without changing who he is or biting off anyone. THAT ALONE gets him props from me. I am feeling this joint so I am going to give it 4 Joe E. Powers motivational tapes.
